The releases of Ubuntu's Unity and GNOME 3 are steps in the wrong direction for the Linux desktop.That's why Microsoft loves open-source.As desktop Linux distributions gradually adopt GNOME 3 or Unity, they risk forgetting their oriiginal purpose; to make Linux newbie-friendly.
